KKK Gasoline, Matatalaib I
- Integrated Fuel and Retail Center
- System Size: 24.40 kWp
- Completion: 26-Sep-2025
Project Summary
The Matatalaib I site serves a dual purpose: fuel station and integrated retail center, with daytime loads running across both operations simultaneously. For a site carrying that combined consumption, grid dependency was a straightforward overhead problem with a straightforward solution.
At 24.40kWp, this installation sits between the smaller single-station KKK deployments and the larger Matatalaib II system next door. Solaren specified dual Sungrow SH10RS inverters paired with Sunova Solar bifacial modules, monitored via iSolar Cloud. The bifacial specification is deliberate on a site like this; reflected light from the forecourt surface contributes meaningfully to generation across shoulder hours.
Together, Matatalaib I and II represent one of the more concentrated solar deployments in the KKK network, with two independently engineered systems operating in close proximity across a shared commercial location.
For fuel and retail operators carrying mixed daytime loads, future-proofing with customised energy solutions means sizing each system to its actual site rather than applying a single template across every location.
