KKK Sison
- Gasoline station and retail service complex
- System Size: 10.01 kWp
- Completion: 8-Oct-2024
Project Summary
Gasoline station margins are thin. When you are competing on fuel price across a network of sites, every peso of operating cost matters. For KKK Gasoline in Sison, Pangasinan, electricity running fuel pumps, lighting, and tenant spaces was a controllable cost that needed controlling.
Solaren installed a 10.01kWp grid-tied system in October 2024, specified around the site’s 8.51kW peak daytime load. The system uses Enphase IQ7A microinverters paired with Trina Solar all-black bifacial modules, monitored in real time via Enphase Enlighten Manager. At a 3.4-year payback, the numbers are straightforward.
The system generates 14,765kWh annually, saving ₱162,412 per year. For a site that runs on tight margins and serves both fuel customers and commercial tenants, that saving is not a bonus; it goes directly to staying competitive on forecourt pricing.
KKK is a long-standing Solaren client with multiple stations across the network. Each one is fully grid-tied and net metered, because for this kind of operation, commercial solar installation is not a sustainability gesture. It is an operational necessity.
