Solaren Power Office
- Solaren Solar Carport with EV Charging and Office Power Support
- System Size: 35.97 kWp
- Completion: 6-Apr-2024
- La Paz, Tarlac, Philippines
Project Summary
Solaren designed and installed a solar carport system at its office to deliver shaded parking, on-site electric vehicle charging, and direct daytime power support for office operations. The steel canopy structure integrates solar panels to generate clean energy throughout the day. This energy is prioritized for office consumption during working hours, with excess generation used to charge Solaren’s growing fleet of hybrid and electric vehicles. By charging vehicles directly from solar rather than the grid, the system reduces fuel and electricity costs while improving overall site efficiency. Beyond cost savings, the installation demonstrates how commercial facilities can turn parking areas into productive energy assets. The project reflects Solaren’s broader approach to commercial solar power systems, where generation, consumption, and operational use are designed together rather than treated as separate components. A detailed explanation of the system design, operational benefits, and real-world performance is covered in our blog on solar-powered EV fleets and commercial solar carports.
