Hi-Peak Poultry Farm
- Grid-Tied Poultry Ventilation & Cooling Solar
- System Size: 99.74 kWp
- Completion: 14-Sep-2024
Project Summary
Hi-Peak Poultry Farm in Sta. Ignacia sits on a rural feeder where voltage variation is a daily reality, not an occasional event. For a farm running continuous ventilation, cooling systems, and automated controllers, that kind of supply instability is not a background inconvenience; it is a direct threat to bird welfare and production consistency. Solaren’s 99.74 kWp system was designed around that specific problem, with SMA Germany STP110 CORE2 inverters selected for their reactive power support and precise voltage regulation, heavier cabling on longer runs to manage voltage rise at full output, and string configuration adjusted to maintain performance through partial shading from adjacent trees during certain hours.
The result is a farm that runs on its own terms. Ventilation stays consistent, lighting cycles hold, and the grid dropping no longer stops operations.
For poultry farms on variable rural supply, industrial solar power systems need to be engineered around the grid conditions on that specific feeder, not specified against ideal supply assumptions.
