Hi-Peak Poultry Farm
- Grid-Tied Poultry Ventilation & Cooling Solar
- System Size: 99.74 kWp
- Completion: 14-Sep-2024
Project Summary
Hi Peak operates on a rural feeder where voltage can swing. That mattered because fans, cooling systems, and controllers do not function well with unstable power. The farm installed a grid-tied solar system utilizing premium inverters, specifically designed for reactive power support and precise voltage settings. The design included heavier cables on long runs to limit voltage rise at full output. Strings were planned to maintain performance even with partial shading from nearby trees at certain hours. The payoff shows up every day. Ventilation keeps pace, lighting cycles stay on schedule, and the monthly bill is lower. When the grid dips, the system rides through. Hi Peak now runs with fewer interruptions and better control over costs, which lets management plan feed and growth cycles with less worry about the next bill or the next brownout.
