At the Eriguel Residence in Marikina, available roof space limited the installation to 27.02 kWp despite substantial household demand. The roof’s approximately 1% pitch also makes solar panel cleaning and performance checks particularly relevant, because rain alone does not readily remove accumulated dust and debris. The system offsets daytime air-conditioning, pool, office and household loads, with net metering handling surplus generation. Its design reflects the usable roof and actual consumption rather than a promise to cover every household requirement.

Commissioned in 2021, the installation retains its original SMA inverters and Trina Solar modules. The household can consume more solar than the available roof can accommodate, making the roof area and regular cleaning central to the system’s operating story.
