Hacienda Luisita Golf and Country Club sets a certain standard for the properties within it. When the owner of this residence decided to go solar, the brief was clear: a premium system that performed to the same standard as the home itself, and net metering secured without delay so that daytime generation translated directly into bill credits as quickly as possible.

Net metering was the client’s priority, and rightly so. With a peak load of 8.50 kW and a household that operates heavily during daylight hours, the economics of this installation depend on the grid absorbing surplus generation and returning it as credit. Following completion in December 2025, Solaren moved the net metering application forward immediately. Approval was obtained promptly and the system was earning credits from the outset.

The 10.00 kWp array pairs Sunova Solar bifacial modules with a Sungrow SH10RS inverter, monitored via iSolarCloud. Generation runs at 14,750 kWh annually against a 3.2-year payback, with lifetime savings projected at PHP 4.5 million. The installation sits cleanly on the roofline without interrupting the character of the property.
