KKK Turbo Fuel Corporation (Care)

Project Summary

KKK Care operates a fuel, convenience retail, and quick service restaurant site in Tarlac City where the electrical load is more varied than it first appears. Refrigeration, canopy and forecourt lighting, digital POS systems, and back-of-house equipment create a demand profile that tracks operating hours closely. Getting the sizing right means understanding when the site actually draws power, not just how much it uses across a full day.

Four Sungrow SH10RS inverters were selected as the platform for this installation, the same hybrid-ready unit used across other KKK sites in the network. The system was designed battery-ready from the outset, with inverter architecture and cable routing configured to accept storage without rework when the decision is made to add it. As the KKK network expands, each site built to this standard creates a consistent upgrade path across the portfolio. Sunova Solar bifacial modules feed 73,780 kWh annually into the site’s operational load, monitored through iSolarCloud.

Annual savings of PHP 811,575 against a 3.1-year payback reflect disciplined sizing against measured consumption timing rather than theoretical capacity. Lifetime savings are projected at PHP 20.9 million.

For fuel and retail operators treating solar as margin infrastructure rather than a sustainability gesture, the ultimate guide to commercial solar ROI sets out exactly how that discipline translates into predictable returns.
