KKK Sta Ignacia II
- Gasoline Station With Commercial Tenants
- System Size: 24.40 kWp
- Completion: 16-Sep-2025
Project Summary
KKK Sta Ignacia is a working gasoline station with commercial tenants sharing the property. The forecourt runs pumps, safety systems, and continuous lighting. The attached businesses add refrigeration, cooling, computers, and point-of-sale equipment to the combined load. Together they produce a steady, predictable daytime consumption pattern, the kind of profile that solar offsets most efficiently.
Two Sungrow SH10RS inverters were selected as the platform for this installation, and not by accident. The SH10RS is a hybrid-ready unit, and the system was pre-engineered from the outset for the addition of battery storage without requiring inverter replacement or significant rewiring. When the upgrade decision is made and it is already under active consideration, the transition will be straightforward. Sunova Solar bifacial modules sit on the rooftop feeding 35,990 kWh annually into the site’s combined load, monitored through iSolarCloud.
At 24.40 kWp the system delivers PHP 395,890 in savings per year against a 3.1-year payback. Lifetime savings are projected at PHP 10.2 million.
For multi-tenant commercial sites where a hybrid upgrade is on the roadmap, commercial solar installation engineered with that transition in mind from day one avoids the cost and disruption of retrofitting a system that was never designed for it.
