Liwayway Marketing Corporation (Oishi) Office
- Corporate Office Complex
- System Size: 60.00 kWp
- Completion: 20-May-2024
- Pasay, NCR, Philippines
Project Summary
Liwayway Marketing Corporation (Oishi) manages its national operations from a corporate office in Pasay City. The building houses the teams responsible for product development, marketing, logistics, and commercial management across the full Oishi range. Office facilities of this type carry a steady daytime load from air conditioning, IT infrastructure, lighting, and meeting spaces, and electricity is one of the more predictable recurring costs in the building’s operating budget.
Solaren installed a rooftop grid-tied solar system sized to carry a meaningful share of the building’s daytime consumption. SMA Germany STP110 CORE2 inverters and Trina Solar Vertex modules were used, consistent with the technology standard applied across the wider Oishi rollout. At 60 kWp the system is proportionate to the load and the available roof. Net metering captures the value of generation during lighter occupancy periods, ensuring nothing is wasted on days when demand dips below output.
The Pasay office installation rounds out what a fully committed corporate solar rollout looks like. From the largest manufacturing lines to the building where the company’s decisions get made, Liwayway Marketing Corporation (Oishi) has embedded renewable energy across its operations at every level. How net metering works to protect and maximize that investment is explained in Solaren’s article on net metering in the Philippines. This project is part of the multi-site solar rollout between Liwayway Marketing Corporation (Oishi) and Solaren Renewable Energy Solutions Corp.
