LMC Offices
- Corporate Office Complex
- System Size: 60.00 kWp
- Completion: 20-May-2024
- Pasay, NCR, Philippines
Project Summary
Oishi is one of the Philippines’ most recognised food brands, but the Pasay offices behind it carry a substantial energy burden of their own. Cooling, lighting, and IT infrastructure running across a corporate complex that supports nationwide operations do not stop drawing power because the sun is out. The electricity bill reflects that around the clock.
The roof presented an immediate challenge. Flat concrete across a corporate building in a dense NCR location meant no penetrations, water ingress into a building of this scale and function is not an acceptable risk. The entire 60.00kWp array was designed as a ballast-mounted system, with load calculations determining the precise weight distribution required to hold the structure securely without a single fixing point through the membrane. The geometry was engineered to meet both structural and generation targets, with Trina Solar Vertex modules laid out across the available roof area and cable paths kept clean and accessible.
The result is a system that generates 88,500kWh annually, saves nearly ₱82,000 per month, and leaves the roof exactly as it was found. For a corporate asset of this value in a high-density urban location, that last point matters as much as the financial return.
This installation sets a practical benchmark for commercial solar installation Philippines projects on flat concrete roofs where penetration is not an option, demonstrating that the engineering constraints of premium urban buildings are solvable without compromise.
