Taruc Residence
- Night-Time Battery Storage and Net Metering
- System Size: 13.00 kWp
- Completion: 8-Aug-2026
- Maliwalo, Tarlac, Philippines
Project Summary
The Taruc Residence in Maliwalo, Tarlac is a busy working and study environment. Mr. Taruc is an attorney, and several students study online at the property. Air conditioning, computers and office equipment create a substantial daytime load, giving the household a direct use for solar power during the hours it is generated.
Solaren installed a 13.0 kWp hybrid solar system using LONGi Hi-MO back-contact modules, a 12 kW Sunsynk inverter and 16 kWh of battery storage. The installation is fully net metered. Surplus daytime generation can be exported, while the battery stores solar energy for use after daylight hours.
This arrangement suits a home that has heavy demand during the day but still uses electricity in the evening. The system is also expandable if the family’s power needs grow.
The Taruc Residence shows how battery storage and net metering complement a busy household’s daytime solar use. Stored energy supports evening demand, while surplus generation can be exported for credits. Our guide to hybrid solar and net metering in the Philippines explains how these features work together.
