Victoria Industrial Park
- PEZA-registered Industrial Hub
- System Size: 99.98 kWp
- Completion: 19-Aug-2018
Project Summary
Victoria Industrial Park in Tarlac is one of the newest approved PEZA-registered zones in the region when Solaren installed the first system there in August 2018, and it was already clear then that this would not be a single project. A fast-developing industrial hub with growing tenant demand, expanding administration, and a management team that understood sustainable infrastructure as a competitive advantage rather than a cost line was always going to need more than one installation.
That first 99.98 kWp system, now over seven years in operation, continues to generate over 147,000 kWh annually against a constant daytime load across offices, warehouses, and shared facilities. It was the foundation of what has become an ongoing and expanding generation network across the park, with Solaren work continuing to this day as the zone develops and tenant energy requirements grow.
For PEZA industrial parks, the case for solar is as much about positioning as it is about savings. Tenants evaluating locations weigh infrastructure quality and operating cost predictability. A park that can demonstrate long-term energy investment and controlled utility costs is a more attractive destination.
Victoria Industrial Park recognised that early. The commercial solar installation in the Philippines story here is still being written.
