WK Nasugbu Residence
- Reliable Power For Remote Batangas Living
- System Size: 42.07 kWp
- Completion: 1-Apr-2026
- Kayrilaw,Nasugbu Batangas, Philippines
Project Summary
Kayrilaw sits in the mountains of Batangas, remote and beautiful, and served by a grid that reflects both. BATELEC supply to this area is extremely unreliable: voltage fluctuations, frequent outages, and interruptions that make grid-dependent living genuinely difficult for anyone who has invested in a serious home.
For the owner of a premium private residence in this location, the grid was not a foundation to build on. It was a problem to engineer around.
Solaren’s solution combined generation and storage in a system sized for genuine energy independence. Three Sol-Ark 15K inverters operating in a three-phase parallel configuration handle the generation and management side, paired with three Hnegrid 40kW battery units providing substantial storage capacity. The system is designed to run the residence entirely off stored and generated energy, using the grid only as a last-resort backstop, on Solaren’s terms rather than the utility’s.
The drone photograph says the rest. Dense tropical forest, a mountainous backdrop, and solar panels clearly visible across the main roof of a property that has no business depending on a grid that was never built to serve it reliably. As more Philippine homeowners discover what solar plus storage actually delivers in locations like this, the decision to go hybrid becomes an obvious one.
