Yeung Residence
- Flat-roof solar in gated subdivision
- System Size: 23.98 kWp
- Completion: 10-Sep-2025
- Silang Cavite, Philippines
Project Summary
The Yeung residence in Silang, Cavite is set within one of the most exclusive gated communities in Cavite Province. The owner’s requirements were exacting from the outset, and the subdivision’s own rules added a further layer of constraint. Strict height restrictions govern what can be placed on any rooftop within the enclave. The roof itself is a flat concrete slab, a surface that demands a fundamentally different mounting approach to pitched roofing and one where waterproofing is not a secondary consideration.
Coordination between Solaren’s engineering team and the property began more than a year before installation. Mounting angles were calculated to maximise generation from the 23.98 kWp array while keeping the entire installation within the approved height envelope. Every penetration point, bracket position, and drainage path was reviewed and sealed before commissioning. Nothing was left to chance on a concrete roof of this value.
Three SMA Germany SB6.0 inverters paired with Trina Solar Vertex modules deliver 35,371 kWh annually against a peak load of 20.38 kW. Payback sits at 3.5 years with lifetime savings projected at PHP 10.9 million. Monitoring runs continuously through SMA ennexOS.
The result is a clean, code-compliant system that meets the subdivision’s aesthetic standards without compromise. This is what choosing a solar EPC in the Philippines with genuine engineering depth actually looks like in practice.
