WK Residence
- Premium Grid-Tied Residential Solar
- System Size: 58.41 kWp
- Completion: 28-Feb-2022
- Forbes Park, Makati City,NCR, Philippines
Project Summary
This installation is located within a highly regulated, premium residential subdivision in central Metro Manila, where compliance, aesthetics, and technical approval requirements are strictly enforced. The property features a complex roof layout that required detailed planning and careful system design before installation could proceed.
The stunning residence operates a three-phase electrical system with substantial loads during both daytime and evening hours. Solaren engineered a fully grid-tied solar installation sized to offset significant daytime consumption while carefully balancing generation against nighttime demand. System capacity and layout were optimized to meet structural constraints while complying with all utility and subdivision standards.
Following commissioning, the customer’s utility profile was transitioned to a time-of-use tariff. This allowed solar generation to reduce peak-rate grid consumption while lowering overall billing exposure during high-cost periods, significantly improving system economics without the need for batteries.
The installation integrates cleanly with the existing electrical infrastructure and operates quietly in the background. It stands as a clear example of how engineering discipline, regulatory compliance, and tariff strategy combine to deliver reliable performance in demanding urban environments.
