Ever Fortune
- High-demand Commercial Hog Farm Operations
- System Size: 100.00 kWp
- Completion: 15-May-2026
Project Summary
Ever Fortune is a commercial hog farm in Baculong, Tarlac, running ventilation, feeding, and waste management systems continuously across its production houses. Hog farming is one of the more demanding solar applications in Philippine agriculture, loads run around the clock, animal welfare depends on uninterrupted airflow, and the roof structures across a working farm require careful assessment before any installation begins.
The 100 kWp array using LONGi Scientist 650W modules offsets the bulk of daytime consumption, with SMA ennexOS providing continuous monitoring across the site.
An SMA STP125 CORE2 was specified above the current installed capacity to accommodate future load growth as the farm expands. On a working hog farm, upgrading inverter capacity after the fact is disruptive and expensive. Building in headroom at the outset is the more practical call.
For agricultural businesses where a system fault translates directly into animal losses, the quality of engineering at the design stage matters more than the price on the quotation. That case is made in detail in our blog on how quality solar engineering impacts long-term ROI.
