Conrey Building

Project Summary

The Conrey Building in Tarlac City combines a working gasoline station with a commercial complex serving multiple tenants, and it is one of several sites where KKK Turbo Fuel Corporation has already invested in solar. This project is a significant addition to the original installation, driven by tenant loads that have grown steadily since the first system was commissioned.

The engineering challenge was space. With the best roof area already occupied, the expansion had to extract maximum yield from what remained. Solaren specified Trina Solar glass glass bifacial modules for their high efficiency and rear side gain, paired with four SUNGROW SG10RS single phase inverters and monitored through iSolar Cloud. The combined installation now sits close to the ceiling for single phase net metering.

Because the original system was fully pre engineered, the addition was delivered at a lower cost per kWp than a standalone build, bringing the forecast payback down to around 2.5 years. Generated power is supplied to building tenants under the site’s metering arrangement, so the roof works as a productive asset for the building owner rather than a simple cost offset.

For building owners weighing an expansion against their first system’s numbers, the real solar energy ROI improves markedly when existing engineering is reused. This installation extends Solaren Renewable Energy Solutions Corporation’s multi-site relationship with KKK Turbo Fuel Corporation across Central Luzon.
