Oishi
- Food Manufacturing – Imus / Pasay (Multi Site)
- System Size: 616.70 kWp
- Completion: 6-Sep-2021
- Imus, Cavite, Philippines
Project Summary
Oishi is a brand that is known to households in the Philippines and other countries, and it manufactures snack foods consumed by millions of people. One of the company’s most extensive facilities is its Imus site in Cavite, where it manufactures, packages, stores, and distributes its products on a massive scale. The power requirement in this case is enormous, and machines operate all day and night to ensure production is going on. Solaren has already completed three stages of solar installations at the complex, with others still under development as the facility continues to expand. Each stage was carefully planned to install solar panels on various rooftops, ensuring reliability for sensitive production lines. The systems are presently adding a large percentage of power during the daytime, lowering the cost and improving the sustainability without disrupting the operations. Solar energy is a long-term solution for Oish Oishi to provide the efficiency, stability, and environmental sustainability of one of its most important plants.
