BIR Tarlac
- Government Office Installation
- System Size: 30.78 kWp
- Completion: 9-Jan-2019
Project Summary
The Bureau of Internal Revenue office in Tarlac also offers services to the public on all weekdays, provided that power is consistent. Lighting, computers, cooling, and services provided to clients are all in operation during the time of highest demand and cost, which is the daylight hours. Solaren had installed a rooftop solar system of a size that can accommodate this very pattern. This system has created clean energy that replaces a big percentage of day-to-day grid power and is used to offset utility costs while assisting in powering the operations more efficiently. To the agency, the upgrade brings long-term savings without shaking services in any way. To the general population, it demonstrates that the government departments can be at the forefront in managing energy in a more responsible manner.
