Bench Philippines II
- Warehouse + Product Fulfillment
- System Size: 135.52 kWp
- Completion: 3-May-2025
- Taguig, NCR, Philippines
Project Summary
Bench is one of the Philippines’ most recognised lifestyle brands. Behind the retail presence is a large warehouse and product fulfillment complex in Taguig running heavy daytime loads across multiple buildings: lighting, air conditioning, logistics equipment, and machinery operating continuously to keep products moving to shelves nationwide.
For an operation at this scale, electricity is not a minor overhead. It is one of the largest controllable costs in the building. Bench is also a brand with a genuine commitment to environmental responsibility, and reducing carbon footprint at the operational level, not just in marketing, was part of the brief.
Solaren designed and installed four separate grid-tied systems across the complex, each configured to the specific rooftop structure and load profile of its building. Integrating multiple systems into multiple utility connections without conflicts required careful engineering across the full site.
This project is part of the overall result of a 396.50kWp installation generating clean energy across one of the most demanding commercial environments in NCR. For a brand that operates at this scale, commercial solar panels are not a sustainability gesture. They are how a serious business manages its largest fixed overhead.
