KKK Gasoline, San Nicolas
- Gasoline Station Network
- System Size: 72.75 kWp
- Completion: 6-Nov-2022
Project Summary
San Nicolas is one of the busiest commercial forecourts in the KKK network. Beyond fuel operations, the site carries a wide mix of tenants: convenience retail, food outlets, and commercial spaces running simultaneously across a high-traffic location in Tarlac City. That tenant variety means the electrical load is both substantial and varied throughout the day.
At 72.75kWp, this is among the larger installations in the KKK portfolio, reflecting a site load profile that smaller station specifications simply cannot cover. Solaren specified a single SMA Germany STP50-40 high-capacity inverter paired with Trina Solar Vertex modules, monitored via SMA ennexOS. The architecture was chosen for the scale and complexity of the site rather than duplicating the smaller station template.
San Nicolas was commissioned in November 2022, making it one of the earlier KKK deployments in the network rollout. It has run reliably since, demonstrating that a correctly engineered system at this scale performs just as consistently as the smaller stations across the portfolio.
For commercial forecourt operators managing diverse tenant loads at scale, commercial solar panels deliver the most value when the system is sized and specified for the full site, not the minimum viable installation.
