Liwayway Marketing Corporation (Oishi) has continued expanding its solar footprint at Imus well beyond the original scope. Phase 4A adds more than 1,500 kWp of new generation capacity to an infrastructure that was already substantial. At this level the solar system is not a cost reduction measure sitting at the edge of the facility’s energy balance. It is a primary daytime power source for some of the most energy-intensive processes on site.

Phase 4A uses Huawei SUN2000 central inverters alongside LONGI high-efficiency modules. The technology selection reflects the demands of operating at this scale inside a continuous-production manufacturing environment. Central inverters at this capacity require careful integration with the protection systems, grid synchronization logic, and power quality management that keep large arrays stable alongside heavy motor loads, variable refrigeration demand, and sensitive packaging equipment running simultaneously.

The combined installed capacity at Imus across all phases now places this facility in rare company among food manufacturers in Southeast Asia. Each phase proved its case before the next was approved, and the result is a solar infrastructure sized correctly for the load rather than for optics.
