Liwayway Marketing Corporation (Oishi) operates one of the largest snack manufacturing complexes in the Philippines at its Imus facility in Cavite. Production does not stop. Machines, packaging lines, refrigeration, and HVAC run continuously across multiple buildings, drawing well over a megawatt of combined peak demand. Getting solar to work at that scale, on a live facility, across multiple grid connection points, is a different engineering problem from a single rooftop install.

Solaren approached the Imus site in phases, each one carefully sequenced so that installation work would not disrupt active production lines. Phase 3 brought the cumulative installed capacity at this facility to its current level, deploying SMA Germany STP110 CORE2 inverters across the remaining rooftop sections and completing compliance and metering work at each tapping point. The coordination required across utility submissions, structural assessments, and on-site scheduling was substantial. The system now generates millions of kilowatt-hours per year, with annual savings running into tens of millions of pesos.
