1st Mega Savers (Paniqui Branch)
- 100 kWp Solar at Mega Savers
- System Size: 100.00 kWp
- Completion: 2-Oct-2026
Project Summary
The new 1st Mega Savers flagship store in Paniqui, Tarlac, is an impressive modern retail facility that has proved highly successful. With substantial electricity requirements, relatively high local electricity tariffs, and competitive margins on appliances and household goods, controlling energy costs is essential to maintaining profitability.
Solaren Renewable Energy Solutions Corporation installed a 100 kWp three-phase commercial rooftop solar system, featuring high-output LONGi Scientist 650 W solar modules and a German-engineered SMA STP125-70 inverter, supported by SMA ennexOS monitoring technology.
Although the roof presented few installation challenges, minor adjustments to panel positioning were required to accommodate existing rooftop aerials.
Designed to generate approximately 147,500 kWh annually, the installation reduces reliance on purchased electricity during daylight hours, helping improve the building’s energy performance and long-term operating economics.
The project continues Solaren’s established relationship with 1st Mega Savers, with multiple installations across its retail network.
