Commissioned in February 2014, BIR RR4’s 398.56 kWp installation continues to operate with its original 16 SMA inverters and SolarWorld modules. Its four separate connections show how net metering formed part of the design for a government complex spread across several buildings. More than twelve years of service also gives the project a useful connection to solar maintenance and performance monitoring: attention to equipment condition and generation remains relevant long after commissioning.

The installation serves the BIR Revenue Region IV complex in San Fernando, Pampanga. SFELAPCO supported the applications, interconnection work and commissioning for the multi-building project.
