BHF Appliances, Camiling
- Multi-Store Appliance Retailer
- System Size: 9.90 kWp
- Completion: 29-Jun-2015
Project Summary
BHF Appliances in Camiling marked one of the company’s earliest commercial solar PV installations, reinforcing its position as an early adopter of renewable energy in Northern Luzon. As a long-established appliance retailer, BHF operates high-demand daytime loads driven by lighting, air conditioning, display units, and point-of-sale systems that run continuously during business hours.
The strategic challenge was not simply to reduce electricity bills, but to structure the system correctly for long-term financial performance. Solaren’s philosophy is clear: secure net metering approval wherever possible to maximize export value and protect the investment. Rather than artificially limiting system size, the installation was configured to align with utility regulations and fully leverage the framework outlined in solar power system protect through net metering.
Years after commissioning, the system continues to deliver consistent savings and stable performance. The early decision to implement solar properly has strengthened operational resilience, reduced tariff exposure, and reinforced BHF’s reputation as a disciplined, forward-thinking retail brand.
