BHF Appliances
- Appliance Retailer with Multi-Store Rollout
- System Size: 16.92 kWp
- Completion: 1-May-2014
- Tarlac City, Tarlac, Philippines
Project Summary
BHF Appliances is a well-established retail brand with branches across the city and provincial centers throughout Northern Luzon. As an early solar PV adopter, the company recognized that its retail model carries strong daytime electricity demand from lighting, air conditioning, display units, and point-of-sale systems operating continuously during business hours.
Rather than treating each branch as an isolated project, BHF partnered with Solaren on a coordinated multi-site rollout. The challenge was ensuring consistency across varied roof structures, consumption profiles, and local conditions. Each system was individually modeled to match branch-specific load patterns while maintaining standardized engineering quality across the network.
The owner’s directive was clear: durability first. The installations were engineered to reflect the principles outlined in Built to Last Engineering Solar Resilience for the Philippine Climate, prioritizing structural integrity, corrosion resistance, and long-term reliability.
The result is a portfolio of solar-powered retail outlets delivering reduced operating costs at scale, strengthening brand positioning while insulating the business from tariff volatility.
