BHF Bank
- Branch Banking Location Solarized
- System Size: 11.00 kWp
- Completion: 29-Nov-2014
- Tarlac City, Tarlac, Philippines
Project Summary
BHF Bank has clients in Northern and Central Luzon and has branches that depend on constant electricity to service their clients, teller machines, and internal operations of the bank. The systems operating all day long to work are air conditioning, lighting, and security systems, which make a good but expensive power profile. Solaren was able to install a grid-tied solar system on a significant site of BHF, and this source of clean power, which is available during the day, will directly replace the utility usage. The installation ensures the smooth running of operations throughout the banking hours, and net metering is utilized so that the surplus energy is not wasted. The system operates silently in the background and enables the branch staff to concentrate on the service and reduce the current costs. In the case of BHF, solar is not merely a cost-reduction strategy, but it helps the company sustain banking services throughout and reaffirm a contemporary and responsible outlook on operations. It also indicates the fact that sustainable decisions are feasible and sound even in the financial field.
