Carbonel Farm
- Large-scale poultry farm with baseload demand
- System Size: 100.00 kWp
- Completion: 14-Mar-2026
- Gerona, Tarlac, Philippines
Project Summary
Carbonel Farm operates a 100kWp solar installation supporting breeder and poultry production facilities with stable and predictable daytime electrical demand. Ventilation systems, feed handling equipment, lighting arrays, and operational processing infrastructure create a structured load profile suited to disciplined solar offset. Rather than sizing strictly to current consumption, the installation was engineered with expansion capacity in mind, ensuring that future growth phases can be accommodated without inverter replacement or structural redesign.
Inverter headroom, cable routing, combiner placement, and structural allowances were intentionally configured to allow seamless capacity increases as production scales. This avoids the common problem of early saturation where growing facilities must retrofit electrical infrastructure at higher cost. Financial planning follows the disciplined modeling framework outlined in Solar Energy ROI, where infrastructure investment anticipates operational growth rather than reacting to it.
The system functions as expandable energy infrastructure, protecting long-term margins while supporting phased production expansion without introducing electrical bottlenecks.
