Creston Academy
- Private School Rooftop Installation
- System Size: 45.78 kWp
- Completion: 9-Oct-2022
Project Summary
Creston Academy is a reputable and expanding private school, whose main emphasis lies on providing a rigorous academic curriculum at an environmentally updated and well-established school. Exceptionally, all classrooms, offices, computer laboratories, and common areas use electricity to keep them cool, bright, and operational. Solaren installed a solar power system, which is based on the daytime load of the school, providing Creston with a clean source of energy at the time it is needed the most. Learning activities carry on as normal among the teachers and students, and the system works behind the scenes for a large proportion of the day. In the case of school leadership, solar will save them long-term and also indicate the values they teach. It is a feasible approach to ensuring sustainability is a part of learning.
