Dr. Farrah
- Natural Medical Center - Herbal Clinic + Solar
- System Size: 16.20 kWp
- Completion: 3-May-2017
Project Summary
The Natural Medical Center of Dr. Farrah provided integrative healthcare services in a rural setting where grid reliability was inconsistent. Treatment rooms, herbal preparation areas, cooling systems, and administrative offices required stable electricity to maintain uninterrupted patient care.
Solaren engineered a solar power system sized to support the clinic’s full daytime operational demand. The installation ensured continuity during grid disturbances while reducing long-term electricity costs. This project was also among the early Philippine deployments of glass-glass bifacial panel technology, reflecting the performance principles discussed in commercial solar energy systems.
Although the medical center has since relocated, the system continues to operate reliably and remains under Solaren’s service support. It was one of the company’s earliest installations and has experienced durable long-term performance with no structural degradation. The successful use of bifacial glass-glass modules in this environment demonstrated early on that higher-specification components deliver measurable longevity, reinforcing the value of disciplined engineering and premium material selection in demanding conditions.
