Dunkin Donuts
- Donut Factory + Retail Stores - Multiple Sites
- System Size: 11.00 kWp
- Completion: 12-Mar-2019
- Sta Maria, Bulacan, Philippines
Project Summary
A Dunkin’ Donuts operation is not a simple retail store. Behind the counter is a production facility running ovens, refrigeration, and distribution infrastructure that supplies an extended chain of outlets. At the Sta. Maria, Bulacan flagship, those loads run continuously from early morning through closing, making electricity a significant and predictable daily cost.
Solaren installed the system in March 2019. Capital was recovered on schedule by early 2024. Recently, Solaren returned to the site for a full service and clean — six years after commissioning, the system was found to be performing well on its original SMA Germany SB5000TL inverter and SolarWorld Germany modules.
That service visit matters. A solar system is a long-term asset and periodic maintenance is what protects performance across its full operational life. Finding a six-year-old system in good working order is the result of correct original specification combined with proper ongoing care.
For food retailers running continuous production loads, solar panel maintenance is what separates a system that performs for twenty years from one that quietly degrades after five.
