El Cabalen
- Hotel and hospitality establishment
- System Size: 46.89 kWp
- Completion: 2-May-2022
Project Summary
El Cabalen is a high-occupancy hotel in the center of Tarlac City, serving a steady flow of guests throughout the year. With guest rooms, kitchens, lighting, and common areas operating daily, electricity demand is continuous and significant.
Solaren installed a grid-tied solar power system engineered to match the hotel’s daytime load profile. The installation delivers consistent daytime generation that offsets a substantial portion of operational demand, reducing grid exposure and stabilizing operating costs. The long-term business logic behind this decision reflects the principles outlined in commercial solar installation is smart move, where correct system design supports financial stability and operational resilience.
This was one of Solaren’s earlier commercial systems, and it continues to operate reliably today with zero breakdowns since commissioning. As demand within the hotel has grown, the system has been carefully upgraded to support higher loads while maintaining performance standards. The result is a durable installation that continues to deliver predictable savings in a demanding hospitality environment.
