Figueroa's Residence
- Hybrid Residential System with Day-Night Automation
- System Size: 31.05 kWp
- Completion: 30-Oct-2024
- Concepcion, Tarlac, Philippines
Project Summary
The Figueroa residence in Concepcion, Tarlac is not a standard rooftop solar installation. Bifacial panels mounted over the swimming pool create a striking architectural feature while simultaneously solving the home’s energy brief: a premium hybrid system delivering zero billing across day and night loads.
Bifacial technology was the right specification here for two reasons. The reflective surface of the pool water beneath the panels increases light capture from below, improving generation across shoulder hours. And the visual result is a genuinely beautiful integration of solar into the design of a premium outdoor space rather than panels bolted onto a roof as an afterthought.
Sunsynk inverter technology manages the full hybrid system, balancing solar generation, battery storage, and grid interaction automatically via Sunsynk Connect. The system covers a 26.39kW peak daytime load and runs overnight loads from storage, delivering consistent zero billing since commissioning in October 2024.
At 31.05kWp this is one of the larger residential hybrid installations in Solaren’s portfolio. For premium homeowners who want energy independence without compromising the aesthetic of their property, energy storage solutions designed around the home rather than imposed on it produce results that work on every level.
