- Premium hybrid solar with 30 kWh battery
- System Size: 16.38 kWp
- Completion: 14-Mar-2026
- Tarlac City, Philippines
Project Summary
Tarlac City’s grid supply is reliable enough for most daily needs, but for this family, reliable was not the goal. The objective was complete energy independence, a home that generates, stores, and manages its own power without depending on the utility at all.
Solaren designed a 16.38 kWp hybrid system built around that requirement. The Sunsynk inverter platform was selected for its proven hybrid performance and seamless switching between solar, battery, and grid sources. At 30 kWh, the battery system is a serious installation by any residential standard, large enough to carry the entire household through the night, absorb consecutive low-generation days, and still maintain comfortable reserves. Sunsynk’s ten-year battery warranty backs that capacity with long-term manufacturer confidence.
The system was sized and configured so that under normal living conditions, grid consumption drops to near zero. What the utility charges per kilowatt-hour in Tarlac makes that independence financially significant as well. As covered in Estimating Residential Solar ROI in the Philippines, areas with disproportionately high tariffs accelerate payback considerably, and the savings here compound year after year.
