Project Summary
Project Summary
Jorisan Poultry Farm operates as part of a growing agricultural network focused on stable, large-scale chicken production. Power demand on-site is substantial, driven by tunnel ventilation fans, evaporative cooling pads, lighting, and automated feeding systems that run heavily during daytime hours. In poultry operations, energy stability directly affects animal welfare and output consistency.
Solaren engineered a grid-tied solar system specifically aligned with these daytime load patterns. String layouts were optimized to maximize roof space while minimizing shading losses, ensuring predictable generation throughout the production cycle. The installation was configured for export management and full net metering compliance, avoiding backfeed issues and securing utility approval without delay.
Since commissioning, the system has delivered consistent savings across seasonal demand variations. Voltage stability and improved power quality support sensitive farm equipment, reducing operational risk. The design also allows future battery integration when storage becomes economically justified, positioning the farm for long-term cost control and production reliability within the local food supply chain.
