Kart City
- Leisure + Kart Track and Bowling Alley
- System Size: 100.00 kWp
- Completion: 8-Sep-2025
Project Summary
Kart City is one of Tarlac’s most recognisable entertainment venues, and one that has grown well beyond its origins as a go-kart track. A world-class 10-pin bowling centre, live band performances, restaurants, and casual dining outlets now operate alongside the karting facility, creating a site where multiple high-draw attractions run simultaneously and the electricity meter reflects every one of them.
That kind of venue does not have a simple load profile. Lighting rigs, kitchen equipment, lane machinery, kart charging, and air conditioning across entertainment spaces add up to a demand that makes energy cost one of the most significant variables in the operating budget. The 100.00 kWp rooftop system commissioned in September 2025 now covers a substantial portion of that daytime demand, delivering over ₱1.6 million in annual savings on a 3.8 year payback.
For leisure and entertainment operators running multiple attractions under one roof, the commercial solar installation decision is ultimately straightforward. The load is large, it runs during daylight hours, and the roof is there.
