Katinko Tarlac
- Herbal liniment plant with packaging demand
- System Size: 47.12 kWp
- Completion: 13-Feb-2026
- Victoria, Tarlac, Philippines
Project Summary
Katinko Tarlac produces herbal liniments and wellness products under a nationally recognized
brand closely associated with natural ingredients and sustainability positioning. The grid-tied
solar installation offsets daytime mixing, blending, heating, filling, and packaging operations
while maintaining full regulatory interconnection with the utility grid. Electrical demand aligns
closely with standard operating hours, allowing structured daytime generation to directly reduce
production energy costs.
Although currently operating as a grid-tied configuration, the infrastructure was engineered to
remain hybrid-ready. Structural layout, inverter compatibility, and cable routing allow future
battery integration without rewiring or structural modification. As consumer awareness
increasingly favors environmentally aligned manufacturers, energy sourcing contributes directly
to corporate credibility and distributor confidence.
The project reflects broader operational planning principles described in Sustainable Energy
Strategy, where energy decisions reinforce environmental commitments while protecting financial discipline.
The installation supports cost stability, brand alignment, and long-term flexibility in evolving
energy conditions.
