Kings Court
- Office Building Cluster with Shared Rooftop PV
- System Size: 181.17 kWp
- Completion: 10-Jun-2022
Project Summary
Kings Court is a popular premium office development in Makati, where a combination of businesses is located in the busiest financial area in the country. The complex is very electricity-intensive due to its use of lights, air conditioning, and 24-hour operation, like most urban towers. The dilemma of this project was obvious: having very little rooftop area within the group of buildings, the project would have to produce sufficient power to make a significant difference in the load. The utilizable roof was maximized in every square meter, and the achieved grid-tied solar systems are currently providing a steady portion of the daily demand. Although the installation will not be able to cover the entire building load, it contributes significantly to both cost reduction and operational stabilization. To the King’s court, solar has been a reliable companion – silent day in day out, helping tenants go about their daily activities in the city centre.
