KKK Gasoline, Gerona
- Service Station with Food and Retail Outlets
- System Size: 10.01 kWp
- Completion: 6-Jun-2024
Project Summary
A fuel station with food and retail outlets is not a simple electrical brief. Refrigeration units run continuously regardless of trading hours, cooling loads vary with customer footfall, and lighting spans both the forecourt and interior retail spaces. At KKK Gerona, that combined daytime consumption across multiple use types made grid dependency an increasingly expensive default.
Solaren specified Enphase IQ7A microinverters for this installation, providing panel-level performance monitoring across the rooftop array via Enphase Enlighten Manager. The all-black bifacial module specification delivers clean output across the site’s peak operating hours, covering cooling, lighting, and refrigeration loads that run from opening to close.
Gerona is one of several KKK stations commissioned in mid-2024 as the network accelerated its solar rollout across Central Luzon. Each site has been individually engineered rather than duplicated, reflecting the variation in load profiles and rooftop configurations across the portfolio.
For service stations carrying food retail alongside fuel operations, a trusted solar power company with experience across mixed-use commercial sites delivers better outcomes than a contractor treating every station as identical.
