KKK Gasoline, San Rafael
- Gasoline Station and commercial space
- System Size: 10.01 kWp
- Completion: 6-Jun-2024
Project Summary
Fuel station canopies present a solar installation challenge that most contractors avoid. The structural loading requirements, fire safety compliance, and electrical routing across a working forecourt demand a level of engineering care that goes beyond standard rooftop work.
At KKK San Rafael in Tarlac City, Solaren combined canopy-mounted and rooftop panels into a single integrated system, covering pumps, store equipment, and lighting across the full site. Enphase IQ7A microinverters were specified for this configuration, providing individual panel-level monitoring and performance optimisation across two different mounting surfaces via Enphase Enlighten Manager.
This is one of several KKK stations across Central Luzon where Solaren has been the trusted solar contractor. The consistency of that relationship reflects something straightforward: the installations work, the systems are maintained, and the savings are real.
For fuel retailers considering solar across multiple sites, the real solar energy ROI on a correctly specified canopy and rooftop installation is compelling, particularly when margins on fuel alone leave little room for uncontrolled overheads.
