Project Summary
Jorisan Hotel is a beachfront resort in Bauang, La Union, welcoming guests to one of the most exposed coastal environments in Northern Luzon. Like most seaside hotels, energy demand is constant. Guest room cooling, kitchens, lighting, pools, and event spaces create a substantial daytime load profile.
Solaren engineered a grid-tied rooftop system specifically for marine conditions. In coastal environments, salt mist and humid air accelerate corrosion, so all modules and mounting structures were selected with certified resistance and long-term durability in mind. Wind loading calculations were also critical, ensuring the system withstands strong seasonal winds and typhoon exposure in line with solar resilience engineering.
Although the installation is net metered, the majority of the generation is self-consumed by the facility during operating hours. The result is a corrosion-resistant, structurally reinforced system that delivers consistent savings year-round. For a premium seaside resort, reliability matters as much as aesthetics, and the system is built to perform quietly against the demands of salt, wind, and sun.
