LACA
- Christian Leaning and Education
- System Size: 99.99 kWp
- Completion: 21-Oct-2024
Project Summary
LACA is a Christian-based school whose mission extends beyond the academic aspect: it is committed to ensuring that children from disadvantaged backgrounds receive a quality education. The school boasts of integrating faith-based values alongside opportunities that open up to the young people who would otherwise not have the chance to receive a structured learning experience. LACA partnered with Solaren to install a grid-tied solar system that currently subsidizes a significant portion of the campus’s electricity bill. This investment implies that greater resources of the school can be allocated to teaching, facilities, and the support of students instead of their paying increased utility bills. To the staff, it gives them peace of mind; to the students, it provides them with a brighter and sustainable future. LACA has now become the model for how renewable energy can support education and Christian service.
