Lenox
- Paper and Processing Factory
- System Size: 55.50 kWp
- Completion: 9-Nov-2014
- Caloocan, NCR, Philippines
Project Summary
Lenox Paper, based in Caloocan City along Tanigue Street, is a long-standing supplier of paper products and office essentials serving schools, local businesses, and administrative offices. Their operations depend on consistent daytime electricity for lighting, computers, printing equipment, and order processing systems. Reliability during working hours is critical, as workflow interruptions directly affect customer service and delivery schedules.
A grid-tied solar system was installed to offset daytime consumption without altering daily operations. The design focused on aligning production with business hours, ensuring that solar generation directly reduces grid dependency when demand is highest. The system operates seamlessly in the background, supporting routine activities without disrupting productivity.
Notably, this installation was among Solaren’s earliest systems. It remains fully operational and continues to perform reliably years after commissioning. Its longevity reflects the value of disciplined engineering, proper installation practices, and long-term accountability. The principles behind such durability are central to what defines a strong solar EPC partner in the Philippines.
For Lenox Paper, solar is not a marketing feature. It is working infrastructure, quietly supporting daily operations and contributing to stable operating costs over time.
