New World Trading
- Supermarket & Grocery Solar Site
- System Size: 20.79 kWp
- Completion: 30-May-2022
Project Summary
New World Trading is a well-established supermarket and grocery store that serves the community, offering residents a wide range of daily essentials. The location is no different from the rest of the retail locations, as during the day, the store consumes enormous amounts of electricity in the form of lighting, refrigeration, and air conditioning, which is necessary for keeping the products fresh and keeping the customers comfortable. There were also unique issues that were linked with the installation of a solar system, including compliance with utility requirements regarding a multi-meter system and the need to make the most out of the roof of a facility. These challenges were met through proper planning and precision engineering and led to the creation of a very efficient grid-tied solar system. Nowadays, New World Trading receives reduced power rates and a consistent clean energy supply, and this demonstrates that even the busy retail locations can use an optimized and high-yield installation.
