Nolet Beach Resort
- Solar for Pool + Villas
- System Size: 20.70 kWp
- Completion: 10-Apr-2025
- Sta Lucia, Ilocos Sur, Philippines
Project Summary
This Family Resort offers travelers a place to relax and enjoy the coast of Ilocos Sur, combining beachfront views with comfortable accommodations. Like many resorts, its operations rely heavily on electricity for air conditioning, kitchens, lighting, and event spaces: rising energy costs and the resort’s commitment to sustainability led management to adopt solar power. The rooftop system was built with coastal conditions in mind: panels and structures are certified for salt mist resistance. In contrast, the racking system is typhoon-resistant to meet the challenges of strong seasonal winds. Today, this facility powers all its daily operations with clean energy, thereby reducing costs and minimizing its environmental impact. Guests benefit from reliable comfort, and the resort stands as a model of how tourism and renewable energy can work hand in hand in the Philippines.
