Nolet Beach Resort
- Solar for Pool + Villas
- System Size: 20.70 kWp
- Completion: 10-Apr-2025
- Sta Lucia, Ilocos Sur, Philippines
Project Summary
This Family Resort is an attractive destination where tourists can have a chance to rest and spend a fun time at the coast of Ilocos Sur and enjoy the beachfront and comfortable staying. Similar to most resorts, it is very dependent on electricity to run air conditioning, kitchens, lighting, and event places: due to increasing energy bills and the sustainability issue that the resort is keen on, the management decided to use solar power. The rooftop system has been designed to withstand the coastal conditions: panels and constructions are certified to be able to withstand salt mist. The racking system, on the other hand, is resistant to typhoons to handle the strong seasonal winds. This facility uses clean energy today when running all its daily activities, hence saving on its costs and also minimizing its ecological effects. Visitors enjoy the comfort of working and knowing that the resort is reliable, and that it is a perfect example of how tourism and renewable energy can be a match in the Philippines.
