Northeastern Colleges
- Multi-Building School Solar Deployment
- System Size: 99.99 kWp
- Completion: 13-Sep-2022
Project Summary
Northeastern Colleges has long been considered the best educational facility in Santiago City with its history, tradition, and adherence to high standards. With increased size came the increased energy demand of the campus, not just the classroom and facilities, but also the tenants in the premium ground floor, such as the fast-food joints and banks. This combination of educational and business life made the need for electricity a constant throughout the day, and solar seemed the clear solution. The rooftop system has become a reliable source of clean power, which can benefit both the school community and its tenants as it reduces costs across the board. In the case of Northeastern Colleges, the project is a win-win: students and staff experience a more sustainable campus, and tenants experience lower overheads, which contributes to making the institution sound as a progressive and practical institution.
