Tarlac Provincial Hospital
- Provincial Government Hospital System
- System Size: 99.68 kWp
- Completion: 28-Mar-2018
Project Summary
Tarlac Provincial Hospital is one of the most frequently visited medical institutions in the province, serving over a thousand patients annually. In its pursuit of energy efficiency, the hospital became one of the earliest government hospitals in the locality to adopt solar power in March 2018, a move that many other government facilities have followed. The solar solution on the roof is already more than seven years old, and it remains a highly effective one, providing clean and continuous power that helps stabilize prices and reduce the hospital’s budgetary burden. According to the hospital management, the installation has conveyed the message that renewable energy can be both environmentally friendly and reliable under the most rigorous conditions. Tarlac Provincial Hospital is an example of how solar power can be a valuable support in delivering healthcare in the Philippines.
