Yeung Residence
- Flat-roof solar in gated subdivision
- System Size: 23.98 kWp
- Completion: 10-Sep-2025
- Silang Cavite, Philippines
Project Summary
The Yeung Residence in Cavite presented a set of installation challenges that demanded careful planning before a single panel was placed. The property sits within a subdivision with strict height restrictions, and the roof is a flat concrete slab, a surface that requires a fundamentally different mounting approach compared to standard pitched roofing. Getting this wrong means leaks, structural damage, or a system that breaches subdivision rules and cannot pass inspection.
Solaren’s engineering team conducted a detailed site assessment before finalizing the design. Mounting angles were calculated to maximize generation from the 23.98 kWp array while keeping the entire installation within the approved height envelope. Waterproofing was treated as a primary concern, not an afterthought. Every roof penetration and bracket position was sealed and reviewed before commissioning.
SMA inverters from Germany and high-efficiency bifacial panels were selected for long-term reliability and output performance. The result is a clean, code-compliant grid-tied system built to last the full life of the roof.
This level of planning reflects exactly what homeowners should expect from a qualified solar contractor, as outlined in What to Look for When Choosing a Solar EPC in the Philippines.
