OISHI Cebu
- Food Production, Manufacturing
- System Size: 719.80 kWp
- Completion: 22-Oct-2025
Project Summary
Oishi’s Cebu plant supports production and distribution for the central and southern Visayas, supplying snack products to a wide network of retailers. The facility runs intensive operations throughout the day, with heavy electrical loads from cooking, packaging, and refrigeration. To help manage rising energy costs, Solaren designed and installed a grid-tied solar power system customized for the plant’s daily consumption pattern. The system offsets a large portion of its daytime power use, providing clean and dependable energy directly from the sun. All electrical integrations were coordinated with the utility to ensure smooth interconnection and accurate monitoring across multiple circuits. The system now helps stabilize operating expenses, lower emissions, and maintain continuous production. Oishi’s Cebu site shows how large food manufacturers can maintain reliability and efficiency while adopting renewable energy solutions that make economic sense.
