Bench Philippines II
- Warehouse + Product Fulfillment
- System Size: 135.52 kWp
- Completion: 3-May-2025
- Taguig, NCR, Philippines
Project Summary
Bench is also among the most recognised lifestyle brands in the Philippines. It has a large warehouse and manufacturing facility in Taguig that keeps the products on their way to the retail shelves. These facilities operate heavy daytime loads that are caused by lighting, air conditioning, machinery, and logistics equipment, which are the largest operational expenses. The four grid-tied solar systems installed by Solaren partnered with Bench on the complex were designed to fit the different rooftop structures and load profiles of the buildings. The design issue was to make the most out of the generation across multiple roofs, and the roofs should be able to integrate with the utility smoothly. The systems today provide a significant portion of the daytime demands of the site, which reduces the bills and increases reliability. In the case of Bench, solar energy will be used to maintain efficient and sustainable operations in the background so that their warehousing and production activities are as future-oriented as their brand.
