KKK Gasoline, Strada
- Fuel Station and Roadside Commercial Complex
- System Size: 10.01 kWp
- Completion: 11-Jul-2024
- Capas, Tarlac, Philippines
Project Summary
Roadside commercial complexes along major routes in Central Luzon carry a specific energy challenge: operations run continuously, tenants have varying consumption patterns, and the site never fully powers down. At KKK Strada in Capas, Tarlac, that combination of fuel station, air-conditioned commercial spaces, and 24-hour service meant daytime electricity costs were a permanent overhead.
Solaren combined rooftop and canopy-mounted panels into a single integrated system, engineered around the site’s specific orientation and load distribution. Enphase IQ7A microinverters handle the mixed mounting configuration, with panel-level monitoring across both surfaces via Enphase Enlighten Manager.
Capas sits on a key transit corridor, and the Strada site reflects the kind of roadside commercial development where energy costs compound quickly across multiple tenants and operating hours.
This is one of several KKK installations commissioned across Central Luzon through 2024, each individually specified rather than templated. For roadside commercial operators carrying mixed tenant loads, a solar panel supplier who understands the full site configuration delivers better results than one focused solely on panel count.
